Our Hive is a social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) provision aiming to support KS1 and KS2 children who are struggling in a mainstream classroom. Our Hive offers children access to a curriculum more tailored to their individual needs with an emphasis on supporting their SEMH.
Through building trusted relationships with our trauma informed qualified staff, we hope to engage children and help them to believe in themselves, raise their self-esteem and reach their potential. We believe that all children should be provided with the opportunity to be the best they can be and our aim is to provide a more nurturing environment where those children, some of whom may be at risk of exclusion, can have the opportunity to change their story and make positive steps towards re-engaging in their learning journey within a supportive smaller setting.
We work closely with teachers, parents and other professionals to ensure children have the support needed with an aim to re-integrate them back into the classroom or other alternative education. Our provision is short stay and the timing and length of placement
can be developed bespokely with schools. We work closely with teachers, parents and other professionals to ensure children have the support needed to re-integrate them back into the classroom or other alternative education.
“The teachers have been really
supportive and kept her safe”
“The staff have helped her to grow
in confidence and begin to shine”
