Colley Lane has been serving families of the Cradley community for over 100 years. We are proud of our academic, creative and sporting achievements. The children are well behaved and they take pride in and look after, their purpose built school and its grounds.
Last week, year 6 continued with their Harry Potter themed dance pieces and brought drama into their performances. Based around a wizarding duel, the pupils created freeze frames demonstrating different stages within a duelling battle. Check out the photographs on Class Dojo!

Today we welcomed our LAB members into school for a Maths Focussed visit. They joined in with lessons, spoke to pupils and staff and even learnt some new mathematical vocabulary! It was great to share the enthusiasm the children have for @MathsMastery. @WinAcadTrust

The Wellbeing Warriors are doing so well with their training, we are working through different scenarios that children may come across and how they can support the children. We are also ensuring that they know how to support and look after their own mental health and wellbeing.
This week, Mr Simpson launched the new AI technology Year 6 will be working with to support their SATs studies. Century Tech is a new app that Year 6 will be using to supplement their Reading, Maths and SPAG lessons. It assesses the pupils’ knowledge around a range of topics.
Year 2 have been busy in science this week! The children have started an investigation into what plants need to survive. Different groups had different conditions to plant their seeds in, for example; no water, lots of water, in a cold fridge or in a dark space.
