We aim to provide a secure welcoming place at the start and end of the school day where all children are valued. For parents/carers this means knowing your child is safe and happy, we are here to support working parents by providing affordable, consistent childcare.
Our breakfast club can accommodate up to 60 pupils from 7.45am until 8.45am. The breakfast club is open to all pupils from Reception to Year 6. Children are offered a breakfast; which includes toast/beans on toast and a drink. Activities range from using the computers, outside activities, games and colouring.
Our after school club can accommodate up to 50 pupils from 3.05pm until 5.45pm. The after school club is open to all pupils from Reception to Year 6. Children are offered a snack and some fruit. Activities range from using the computers, outside activities, hall games and crafts.
You will need to speak to the office if you would like to enquire about our breakfast and after school clubs. You will be asked to complete a form and return it. Due to the size of our school and the popularity of the club, we do have a limit to the number of children that we are able to admit therefore the school office may from time to time operate a waiting list.
The sessions are held in our family room. The equipment and foods are kept in the breakfast club/after school club’s kitchen. We operate a strict and secure collection procedure and it is necessary for a parent/guardian to sign all children out or in each day. When you arrive to pick up or drop off, please come to the main reception door. You will find a breakfast club/after school club buzzer on the left-hand side of the wall by the entrance to notify the staff that you are waiting to be let in.
Please ensure that you officially sign your child in/out of the club on the daily registration sheet. We also ask that you leave promptly once you have picked your child up – we also ask that you do not use this as an opportunity to visit other areas of the school or use the play areas.
The breakfast and after school club will not operate on staff development days.
Our telephone number is 01384 900 454. Please contact this number if you are delayed in picking up your child or if your child is ill and unable to attend the Club.
