During national road safety week, Year 1 children took part in road safety sessions. They learnt about the importance of stopping, looking and listening and to always hold an adult's hand when crossing a road. They talked about safe and unsafe places to cross and when and who they should cross a road with. Each child practised crossing the road safely and also took on the role of the crossing patroler ensuring their friends crossed safely.
