After School Club Newsletter: Easter 2023

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have been very busy decorating our biscuits and eating our pizzas this half-term... as usual, they went down a treat! As we are fast approaching Easter, we felt it was only right to change our display board to reflect this ‘eggsellent’ time! It is looking super colourful with rabbits, sheep, chicks, ladybirds and flowers. Perhaps you had the chance to see this at the recent parents’ evening. We have asked the children to count all of the above with a prize for those who get the numbers correct. How ‘eggciting’!

To add to the Easter festivities, the children very much enjoyed decorating and eating their chocolate egg nests this week too. It wouldn’t be Easter if we didn’t have a little chocolatey treat! We of course made the traditional milk chocolate nests, but also experimented with creating a marble effect by using a mix of dark and white chocolate. Both variations proved very popular with our culinary critics (the children, of course!) and were a great way to end the term.
